I always prefer to adopt an older dog simply because they are calmer, are over their chewy tendencies, and someone else has usually house trained them for you!!!

Onyx is a neutered male black lab mix, born on November 15, 2024. He loves to hang out with you, whether it’s on the couch or in the yard working. He is crate and potty trained as long as you pay attention to him going to the door. He will use a potty pad also if you lay it at the door. He is very gentle and has been introduced to chickens, pigs and children, as well as cats and other dogs. Win his heart by giving belly rubs and squeaky toys. The adoption fee is $50. LT

Stormee is a beautiful tri-colored with unique markings female Carolina Dog/Rottweiler/Shepard mix born about September 2024. She is a very intelligent, laid back and sweet-natured dog. Stormee was a bottle-fed puppy, which makes a particularly people loving and loyal dog. Her Mom is 42 lbs, and so we expect a medium-sized dog when she’s fully grown. Friendly with dogs, cats, kids, she is also house trained and crate trained. Stormee is learning to walk on a leash. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines, completely ready for her new home! Hank is a 5 year old brindle hound mix with lots of flashy white on his head, chest and feet. He was in a neglectful situation which became even worse after Hurricane Helene, so his wonderful neighbors took him in so he would be fed, warm and safe until we find him his forever home.
